Behind The Seams

Since 2017, Woven Weekend founders Jonathan and Lori Goldman (aka J.R. & Elle) have spent part of each year in India—volunteering in local communities, building friendships, and soaking in a culture that quickly felt like home. It didn’t take long for them to fall in love with the layered beauty of the state of Rajasthan: the bold prints, intricately painted buildings, sun-washed doorways in shades of marigold and mint. The textiles, the colors, the warmth of the people—it was a world full of life. Days started with chai, not chaos. Beauty wasn’t flashy—it was woven into everyday things.

That contrast—vibrant yet unhurried—became the heartbeat of Woven Weekend.

In partnership with a family-owned business in Jaipur—led by a skilled tailor and supported by a small, close-knit team—the Goldmans have created a line of clothing and accessories to feel like your favorite version of you. The main workroom is loaded to the brim with colorful cottons—where no more than ten local makers craft, press and pack each piece with precision. The environment is safe, respectful, and entirely fair trade—proof that beautiful things can be made with care, not compromise.

So in the end, not only does each piece blend lively, expressive prints with soft silhouettes and natural fabrics—perfect for slow brunches, golden hours, and unplanned moments—it also carries a story and a heart of honored heritage.

So hang out. Try things on. Your Woven Weekend starts now!
